Christmas Break!

Who's excited for Christmas? I think everybody is! If you're not your loco. Personally I love visiting my cousins in Irvine. I love going Christmas shopping with my friends and getting presents from family and friends. What's your favorite thing to do during Christmas?

SHE SHOOTS! SHE SCORES!

As you know soccer seasons over, but as you know from my other blog my soccer team (Hawks) made it to the Sunset Tournament. Although we did not make it to the championship I had broken a tie during one of the games. For me this only happens every once a year so far I've played. (2 years) I remember it like it was yesterday. I could hear the crowd gasping probably thinking is she going to score? All my teammates outside of the little circle of defenders and midfielders were shouting: Shoot Stephanie! Shoot! they shouted. I dribbled once and saw a little opening. Then suddenly I shot, doubting I would make the goal I backed away then I noticed it was an air ball. I could see the goalie desperately looking for the ball. Then I heard the cleats of my teammates jumping up and down and opened my eyes. I scored! The players on the field were now running toward me to give me high-fives. I could hear some parents cheering me on! I saw my dad jump up from his chair clapping his hands together wildly. My mom screamed my name as loud as she could, but not loud enough to get heard by me over the cheering crowd. A big smile formed on my face and I could not hold myself from it. It was like a giant impulse I couldn't stop. This was the second time I had scored a goal and I was super happy because I had worked so hard to get to this point. After I had scored I was pulled out of the game by the coach and also given a high-five. The bad thing was that I had this strange feeling of wanting to play more. A few minutes more into the second half Bella (Isabella) she scored our final goal and then the ref blew the whistle to signal the end of the game. We had won the game and more importantly I scored!:) After when we had walked to side where the parents were waiting to congratulate me! Coach Hamid said to put this in my lifetime book, so I thought why don't I just share it with yo guys by putting it in my blog? Although I scored a goal I feel a pang of sadness for not being able to see my team anymore. Even though we wanted to go to Dave n' Busters in the Great Mall the parents (moms) wouldn't let us. They said we had something to do even though we didn't. P.S. They congratulated my dad.
